The GGM K22-2418 BLDC Series is a DC Planetary Geared Motor line combining a BLDC motor with a coaxial planetary gearbox. The gearhead features a Ø22mm mounting face, a Ø4mm output shaft, and four M2 threaded holes, making it suitable for drive assemblies requiring compact dimensions and speed control capabilities.
The series offers two motor options: KB2418U1 DC 12V and KB2418R2 DC 24V. Each motor can be paired with 20 gear ratios from 1/4 to 1/1996, resulting in 40 model combinations based on voltage, speed, and output torque.
In addition to power leads, the motor utilizes PWM signal, FG signal, and CW/CCW control. This is the key difference compared to the K22-2032 brushed DC motor series with the same gearhead size.
The K22-2418 utilizes a planetary gearhead with a Ø22mm mounting face. The output shaft has a diameter of Ø4mm, a 14mm extension length, and is machined with a D-cut profile.
The front of the gearhead has four M2 threaded holes with a 4mm thread depth, arranged on a PCD Ø18mm bolt circle. The motor body has a diameter of Ø24.4mm and a length of 18.2mm.
The series uses two motor models:
KB2418U1: DC 12V voltage.
KB2418R2: DC 24V voltage.
The KB2418U1 has a no-load speed of 6,200rpm. The KB2418R2 has a no-load speed of 8,700rpm. Therefore, the same gear ratio will result in different output speeds for the two versions.
The GGM K22-2418 provides 20 gear ratios from 1/4 to 1/1996. Low ratios are suitable for mechanisms requiring higher output speeds. High ratios provide lower output speeds within the torque limits of the planetary gearhead.
The torque at maximum efficiency reaches 3kgf·cm in many high gear ratio configurations.

Length L is the length of the planetary gearhead section. When designing the mounting position, account for the 18.2mm motor length, the 2.5mm rear section, and the 14mm output shaft length.
